Hey!
As a Curator Farmer this week, I had to join all the links of all the resources used for doing our third task: "Telling Stories".

OUR PET'S PRESENTATION

Imagen
This week, we have been asked to create a pet that will accompany our tasks for SOYER subject during this four-month period. Its role is to be a distinctive symbol that represents Lovely teachers group. As we are training ourselves so as to become primary school teachers, we decided that an original pet could be a blackboard. This was mainly because it is related to our future occupation and, moreover, it could be used to reflect the topic of the week as well. We bought a blackboard and decorated it so that it was actually creative and unique, since we think that an important skill a teacher must have is creativity and imagination. The journalist’s role is not only based on telling what we do each week, but also on exploring two more blogs related to our weekly task. In plus, we think that the author's ideas are really interesting because of the fact that children can acquire knowledge by themselves. As you will see if you take a look at this blog, it also provides some videos in which the au...

Task 4: Defining terms and recognizing items

Imagen
A globe is the only “perfect” representation of the Earth’s surface. All maps are distorted in four major ways. The four ways maps are distorted is by the shape, size, distance, and location of the landmasses being mapped. In order to make maps, projections must be made, and different projections require different distortions. For each projection listed below, complete the chart for the correct information.  Projection Robinson Mercator Azimuthal Include picture of it: Purpose The purpose of Robinson is finding a good consensus on the problem of easily showing the entire globe in a flat image. besides, making world map ‘’looking right’’ rather than measure precisely. https://www.gislounge.com/common-map-projections/ It is designed for several uses such as navigational charts, but it is the most used even in the educational context. https://www.britannica.com/science/Mercator-projection It is useful due to it shows all meridians as straights, wi...
