Task 5: History

Hii!! I am Ángela, the journalist of this week. So, let's start...

As all the previous weeks, on Monday Linda explained us what we had to do in this new task called ''The dark side of textbooks''. First of all, we had to read some documents to obtain different information. Some examples of these documents are:

The task's objective was to do a campaign against the use of textbooks as basic resources in classrooms. For doing that, we had to decide which format we were going to use. There were three options:

  • An info-graphic is the display of information in such a way that it can be easily understood at a glance.

  • Twitter timeline is a list of tweets or messages from people you follow or people in a Twitter list.

  • fable is a short tale to teach a moral lesson, often with animals or inanimate objects as characters.
We chose the info-graphic due to it is visual and clear. It is a good way for people to understand what we want to transmit quickly.
Here you have our info-graphic:

On Wednesday, our star Elena presented it.
We are very proud of her and the rest of our classmates, such as:
Group: Empty 21

Group: Teach perfect.

Finally, our teacher Linda gave us some feedback. She told us that we had done a good job, but it would have been better if the information labels had been included in the big cardboard. I hope she really liked it.

Thank you for reading!
