The journalist’s role is not only based on telling what we do each week, but also on exploring two more blogs related to our weekly task. In this post, I have decided to comment a blog called Discovery education . I really like it, because it shows many ways to create a story. Some of the author's suggestions are: flipbooks, stop-motion animation, cell and cut-out animations… I have really enjoyed reading this blog, since it reflects easy and funny things you can teach your students in many different ways. The point is that you can change your routine as a teacher. I mean, introducing methodologies like this, in which children are active learners, would suppose reducing the use of boring textbooks teachers usually prefer because of comfort. In plus, we think that the author's ideas are really interesting because of the fact that children can acquire knowledge by themselves. Task 7.1: Our news

This post includes the news that better represented the contents of the chapters related to Complexity of schools we were given, according to our opinion: TASK 7: RELATIONSHIPS IN A COMPLEX CONTEXT CHAPTER 1: Bearing in mind the Complexity theory , we think the most suitable article is the one in which parents and teachers ask for the removal of the fourth grade final test, from secondary school in Spain. This text states the dissatisfaction both parents and teachers find with this type of exam. Moreover, they also say this kind of test will only be considered as a waste of the State founds, since they are only a “photo taken in a specific period of time” and it does not necessarily show the reality of each student’s capabilities. Hi there! Another duty this week’s journalist had to face was searching on the Internet other people’s blogs. Regarding our classmates’ blogs, we have chosen Universal teachers’. This is a group composed of Roberto, María José, Yassin, Mavi, Lola and Diego. Our decision was based on how detailed it is. Furthermore, we took into consideration the hard work there is behind those posts. This blog has inspired us a great deal, since it outstands the main topics of the activities carried out. Furthermore, having a look at it has not been hard. At least, not as other posts you are eager to finish reading.
