Task 3: History of the Group
Hi everyone! I am Ana and as a journalist I would like to describe you the dynamic our weekly work.
During the fourth week of the triannual we were asked to do two different slideshows. We had to explain what Creative Commons License resource means and how to do it in a maximum of 10 slides. After that, we were supposed to clarify the twenty crucial tips for developing a brilliant presentation in a maximum of twenty slides. Subsequently, we were ordered to upload it to SlideShare using the tag #Soyer1718.
The second part of the task consisted of the choice of a unique topic. We had to create a presentation composed by different tips linked with the main issue. Our star would be the person in charge of exposing such presentation for four minutes.
After Linda’s explanation on Monday the nineteenth Lovely Teacher’s group started considering different ideas to carry out the presentation.
We opted for using a different app for each presentation. We choose “Genially” for the first, and “Emaze” for the second one. With respect to the topic of the second presentation, several possibilities were exposed until we came to an agreement.
We decided to focus on Mathematics and we wrote around 10 tips about it.Afterwards we came to Linda with the intention of making sure our idea was suitable. Consequently, she warned us we couldn’t encompass all the tips due to its lenght. As a result, we chose lines as our main point.
We have worked as a real team in order to create both presentations, but we had several problems in order to upload the first one to SlideShare. As a consequence, we asked Linda if other alternatives such as Linkedln were possible. Fortunately, she replied us that it was perfectly ok and we immediately uploaded it.
As it occured in the previous task, each member of the group was assigned a role so as to accomplish the affair.
Natalia has been the star, Elena has been a worker, Ángela has been a worker as well, Andrea has been the facilitator, Irene has been the analyst, Ana has been the journalist, Beatriz has been the translator and Sara has been the curator-farmer.
On Wednesday the twenty first the presentations were carried out. Our star Natalia did her best and tried to make the presentation the more entertaining she could. Here you have a fragment of it:
When she finished, Linda adviced us than we need to make our presentation longer due to it lasts less than the four minutes required. As soon as the session finished, we started to think ideas in order to enlarge the slideshow.
Putting this to one side, we also would like to highlight the brilliant job of our counterparts. We are so surprised because of their creativity and enthusiasm when doing their presentations. Here you a few pictures of some of them!
Carlos and Carmen María talked us about density of water. They made us better understand such theory with an absorbing experiment.
Ainhoa informed us about toxic relationships and she also gave us some tips to detect them.
Viki and Ana let us know more about the United Kingdom culture.
Maria José did an amazing presentation about music.
When all the presentations were finished, our teacher ordered us to develop a new mission. We were asked to invent several questions related with the presentations previously exposed to be used in a “Kahoot”. This last can be defined as a tool for using technology to administer quizzes, discussions or surveys..Therefore, we decided come back home a bit later and complete the task right there.
Thanks for reading!!!!!
See you soon ♥
